Cast your protective circle.
Anoint your candle with the oil that you have chosen. This is done by placing a little of the oil on your fingertips. Grasp the candle at its midpoint with your left index finger and thumb, and use your right index finger and thumb to stroke oil on the candle from the midpoint up to the top of the candle. Next, grasp the candle at its midpoint with your right index finger and thumb, and use your left index finger and thumb to stroke oil on the candle from the midpoint down to the bottom of the candle. Continue in this fashion until the entire candle has been anointed. Anoint means to bless with oil. You are now ready to light your candle. It is important that you never blow out the candle. If you must put the candle out, use a snuffer or wave to blow it out.

Take your herbs from the altar and mix them together in the mortar and pestle, or bowl. Add about four drops of the patchouli or cinnamon oil to the herbs. As you mix the herbs under the pestle or with a spoon, ask the spirit of the herbs to assist you in the magick you with to create. Ask them to assist you in becoming prosperous. Visualize a green energy emanating from them as you say,
“I charge these herbs with the power of prosperity,
Please bring me, my family, and friends, happiness, health and prosperity,
Let abundance arise in my life,

Take the malachite stone into your hands, and hold it above the herbs. Ask the spirit of the stone to help you in your spell. Visualize green energy emanating from the stone, and say,
“I charge this stone with the powers of prosperity and success,
May a strength in this stone be strong and bring prosperity into my life.”

Place the malachite stone in the herbs. Take a pinch of the herbal mixture and sprinkle it onto the burning candle. Focus your energies on the burning candle. Close your eyes and visualize an orb of white light in the center of your body. See it pulsing and flowing with a radiant white light. Allow it to grow larger and larger until it begins to flow down through your arms and into the hands. Direct the energy from the light from your hands into the burning candle. Visualize it pouring into the candle. Once you see the candle glowing with light in your mind, begin to visualize prospertiy in your life. Actually see yourself getting a raise and having money flowing into your checking account. See yourself getting that pool in the backyard that you have been wanting. Visualize yourself getting that new car that you need or whatever it is that you desire. Be certain to be very specific in your visualization. The universe likes to see clearly what you desire. The magick works, I have done this spell many times without failure. Visualize the candle flow filling the entire room.

Add the seven silver dollars to the herbs saying,
“Bless me and my family with health, wealth, and prosperity,
In no way will this spell reverse,
Or place upon me any curse,
I now proclaim this spell is done.”
Let the candle burn out on its own in a safe place where it will not get knocked over. Place the herbs in a pouch to carry around in your purse or wallet. I like to sprinkle the herbs in my wallet, checkbook, and in my left shoe. Some witches will sprinkle the herbs at their front door and anywhere else that they wish to draw prosperity. Your spell is complete! Expect to see results over the next few months. This spell really works, I gave some of my spell to one of my coworkers and within four days received unexpected money in the mail of an extremely large amount! She called me while I was at work to tell me it was already working.

Close your circle by visualizing the circle or the perimeter of the circle coming up counterclockwise (widdershins), starting in the north, while chanting something such as
The circle is open but never broken.

Dressing Candles:
Dressing the candle with oil is as important as any other step. Use whatever oil you prefer or what a specific spell asks you to use. Personally, I use jojoba or olive oil a lot... but again that is my preference. What is important is the direction you dress the candle. To bring something to you, rub oil on the candle in a downward motion from the top to the middle and then from the bottom to the middle.
To send something away from you...you rub the oil from the middle of the candle out to the ends. Never make a back and forth motion as this defeats the purpose. Dab the remaining oil from your fingers onto your third eye (middle of your forehead). Then say the following:

“I cleanse and consecrate this candle. May it burn with strength in the service of the light.”

Then state your intent or the purpose of the candle.
Inscribing:
If you inscribe a candle you should use your Athame, nail, or some sharp object. The same principle as dressing the candle is used...
To draw something to you, write from the top to the middle, and then from the bottom to the middle. For the purpose of the prosperity spell, inscribe a dollar sign.
To repel things, write from the middle to the ends.
